VHS Tapes Reveal Alternate Casablanca Ending, Unforeseen Historical Events

The digitization of old VHS tapes has brought to light unreleased audiovisual material, including an alternative ending to the film Casablanca and recordings of historical events.

## Audiovisual Treasure on VHS Tapes

The review of digitized VHS tapes, some with files of **30 GB** each, has unearthed a valuable audiovisual treasure. Among the material are live recordings of **September 11, 2001**, the live bombing of **Babylon** in **2003**, and the start of the war in **Afghanistan**. The latter includes a speech by **George W. Bush** in which, according to the tapes, he ordered **Osama bin Laden** to close "terrorist training camps".

## Recent Historical Events and Figures

The tapes also contain news broadcasts from **Antena 3** during **José María Aznar**'s time, antiestéticaturing political figures such as **Álvarez Cascos** and **Loyola de Palacio**. Surprisingly, **Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano** is seen presenting Informe Semanal, news reports, and as a special correspondent to Ground Zero in New York, or **Jalabatt** in a burqa. Fragments of **Xavier Sardà**'s shows antiestéticaturing the first "triunfitos" (Spanish reality show contestants) before they became famous are also recovered, along with news reports from the **90s** covering the **Chechen** war, the figure of **François Mitterrand**, or the **Arny** case.

## Sports and Old Advertising

The sports content is also noteworthy, antiestéticaturing the stage of the Vuelta a España won by **Óscar Pereiro**, known as **"El Chava"**, and the match between **Spain** and **South Korea** in the **2002** World Cup. Additionally, the tapes are full of iconic television commercials that many had forgotten, and sports news with **Jesús Gil** and the signing of **Luís Figo** by **Real Madrid**.
