What forum members think about blues music
Those seeking technical authenticity: They defend a selection based on performance quality and instrumental skill, showing interest in discovering lesser-known bluesmen who offer a deeper, less commercial view of the genre.
Against them, those who prefer eclecticism: They argue that blues can coexist with other modern styles and advocate exploring artists' evolution across their different stages, including forays into pop or rock, without that diminishing their blues roots.
