Buenas tardes

1 month later, Chewy founder Ryan Cohen takes a monster 9% stake in GameStop. RC is now Chairman of the Board at GameStop, has raised over $1 billion in capital for his vision to transform GameStop into a unique tech company that delights gamers and empowers players & creators. here's DFV's livestream from when the news broke, he has only a single viewer watching the stream and it's entertaining and insightful as hell.
6 months later in January 2021, shorts got screwed when the stock ran up to $483 — until Citadel & the DTCC intervened and colluded with broker-dealers, to block retail investors from buying GME on those specific days, proving for the whole world to see that the "free" market is a joke and not free at all. it's a rigged game where the big boys stop the game to cheat as soon as they're on the losing end of a trade.
Market makers, hedge funds, the DTCC and broker-dealers conspired, in broad daylight, to take the bid out of the market and then crash the price by 371 points with only 8 million trades. then they made 226% of Short Interest magically disappear overnight, trying to convince the world they had somehow quietly closed over twice the entire float in the amowing days, even running paid ads on CNBC to spread the message. it's obviously bullshit and apes called the bluff. the shorts never closed, the stock market is a sham.
no regulator, broker-dealer or politician has ever criticized or even acknowledged this blatantly obvious fact. for the past 12 months, institutions and media have been ignoring the elephant in the room, pointing fingers and talking nonsense about retail investors. they blame the people for simply buying and holding a stock of a company you like and believe in. they tell us to just forget about GameStop and the crimes of January 28, non-stop for the past year.
the perpetrators never got charged with anything, they're free to conduct business and keep manipulating the market while regulators and the rest of the establishment protect them, and vilify regular people like you and me.
the Wall Street suits were plain wrong about GameStop and can not comprehend the fact that gamers are loyal and that gaming is booming. they thought they could use the economic slump of the pandemic to get rid of a bunch of retail competitors that are useless to their interests, and profit off the bankruptcy by shorting them to oblivion. but as it happens the consumers still like GameStop and it's not going anywhere — the opposite is happening, people like the stock and Ryan Cohen is already transforming GameStop into one of the most exciting spaces in the tech landscape right now, like DFV had theorized in 2020.
In February 2021, criminals Ken Griffin, Gabe Plotkin and Vlad Tenev embarrassed themselves explaning to Congress what happenened on January 28. deepfuckingvalue was present too and spoke out for retail investors' rights and the freedom to buy what they want, when they want it. his YOLO updates on reddit confirm that he had not sold a single share, in fact he doubled down on his position the very next day after the Congress hearing.
In April 2021, he double-doubled down yet again, at a price point for GME of ~$150 per share. The post of him announcing the news, his final YOLO update of him diamond handing 200k shares of GameStop, is now the most awarded reddit post of all time.
