El Instituo Paideia tiene por objeto el renacimiento de la cultura judía en Europa.
Éste mes se abre el plazo de solicitud para ir a estudiar allí. El Instituto está situado en Suecia. Conceden becas. Este año dan prioridad a los judíos sefaditas, pues tienen la intención de organizar una comunidad de judíos de esa procedencia.
Apply to the One Year Jewish Studies Program
Paideia invites applications from qualified individuals committed to the revival of European Jewish culture regardless of age, religion, academic background or country of origin. No prior study experience in Jewish text is required.
Communities, institutions and organizations throughout Europe may propose candidates whom they envision filling leadership roles.
Scholarships
The studies at Paideia are tuition free. Paideia students are candidates for student accommodation provided by Paideia and stipends meant to free you from work while participating in the program. Paideia’s number of scholarships is limited. Students who are financially self-sufficient or have external financing will therefore have a better chance of being accepted to the program.

Do you want to initiate new activities for European Jewish life?
Are you looking for the tools and networks to turn your vision into reality?
We invite you to develop your program at the Paideia Project-Incubator.
The Paideia Project-Incubator is a program for activists and entrepreneurs for Jewish culture who want to develop new projects in the educational, cultural, communal and institutional fields.
The Incubator offers you professional and experienced faculty and an intensive, effective studying program including lectures, workshops, peer-groups, courses in Jewish Textual Studies, individual counseling, and meetings with foundation representatives – all aimed at promoting, guiding and advancing your project.
The fourth annual Paideia Project-Incubator will take place between August 3rd and August 12th 2009 in Stockholm, allowing you to:
• create a pan-European network for joint-activity;
• gain in–depth knowledge in project development;
• broaden your Jewish cultural horizons;
• receive experienced tutoring - from project conceptualization and developing Jewish content – to fundraising and proposal writing;
• gain access to foundations and funding organizations;
• receive amow-up project tutoring.
The Paideia Project-Incubator 2009 is generously funded byThe European Jewish Fund (as part of the European Jewish Fund Leadership Program at Paideia)and UJA.
