Dicho de manera símple. ¿Era compatible las manadas de más de 30 millones de bisontes salvajes con el improrrogable DESARROLLO DEL FERROCARRIL TRANSCONTINENTAL?
He vísto que en la década de los 1860s suceden varias cosas en EEUU. Se produce la GUERRA CIVIL Americana (de Secesión del Sur), que sucede justo cuando se comienzan a colonizar las tierras del Medio Oeste (antigua Louissiana -más grande que el estado actual- a lo largo de todo el Mississipi). Sucede por intereses del GRAN CAPITAL y la visión del futuro país (ya diseñado) que serán los ESTADOS UNIDOS DE AMÉRICA (El SUR lo tenía perdido antes de empezar), y no era exáctamente por la "libertad" ni la esclavitud del SUR -no desde luego con la pose jovenlandesal que se pretende hacer pasar por fidedigna históricamente-, sino por que los Estados del SUR (Confederados), pretendían implantar su modelo económico (Fisiocracia), a lo largo de los Nuevos Estados.
Además, extinguiendo (casi lo lograron) al Bisonte, eliminar el "problema Indio". Como vemos:
-Esclavitud.
-Problema Indígena.
-Bisontes
Son todos co-optados y eliminados a la vez, cuando el desarrollo del NORTE INDUSTRIAL precisa SI o SI, la expansión por el MEDIO-OESTE, y el FAR-WEST, y todo eso sucede en esa época, desde 1860s-1890s.
Me da que la extinción del BISONTE Nortemericano, no fué un error, y no sólo para controlar (condenar a las Reservas a los Nativos Norteamericanos), NO HABÍA OTRA, pero queda muy mal enseñar esto en los colegios y en la historia oficial.
EL FERROCARRIL era incompatible en las LLANURAS del Medio-Oeste con esos más de 30 millones de BÚFALOS SALVAJES.

In the Southwest buffaloes were abundant in western Texas; but the favorite feeding grounds of the southern herd was the section of the plains above the Republican River, between the Arkansas and the South Platte.”

Pero todo eso cambió durante el siglo XIX, cuando los colonos europeos cazaron y sacrificaron sistemáticamente las enormes manadas, aniquilando casi por completo a la especie. En 1889, solo quedaban 541 bisontes.
