En el día de hoy he intentado introducir dos órdenes de venta de opciones de distintos valores y no me deja. El mensaje que recibo es éste:

"OPERACIÓN INTRADÍA DE TENDENCIA POTENCIAL"

Es la primera vez que me sucede tal cosa. ¿Alguien sabe qué malos es eso?

“A potential pattern day trader error message means that an account has less than the SEC required $25,000 minimum Net Liquidation Value AND the number of available day trades (3) has already been used within the last five days.

The system is programmed to prohibit any further trades to be initiated in the account, regardless of the intent to day trade that position or not. The system is programmed to protect the accounts with less than $25,000 so the account would not "potentially" be flagged as a day trading account.

If an account receives the error message "potential pattern day trader", there is no PDT flag to remove. The account holder will need to wait for the five-day period to end before any new positions can be initiated in the account.”

Pues si, tengo menos de 25.000 y he realizado operaciones en los últimos 5 días, pero tenía todas las operaciones cerradas cuando intenté introducir las órdenes hoy. La última que había abierto la cerré ayer.

No veo dónde está el riesgo, pero en fin... Además las operaciones las hago con coberturas más que razonables y con calderilla, porque quiero ir seguro y poco a poco.

¿Y si pongo 25.000 hasta dónde me dejan?

Teniendo margin y más de 25.000 creo que ilimitado.

Menos, lo que ha comentado el compañero.
 
¿Se ejecutan las opciones sobre acciones USA automáticamente al vencimiento o hay que pedirlo expresamente?

Me explico:

¿Si tengo comprado un call 29 y al vencimiento la acción vale 30, no debo hacer nada o tengo que pedir la ejecución expresamente?

¿Si no tengo que hacer nada, me entregan las acciones o me ingresan la diferencia?
