The founder of El Español has been transferring a package of assets to his vvife, lawyer Cruz Sánchez de Lara, including two homes in Madrid and disposal rights over a company with €6,497,180 in share capital. His children, Tristán and Cósima, are not part of the known asset movements, reviving speculation about the Riojan journalist's inheritance.

As an authorized representative, she has the power and autonomy to dispose of these assets without explicit authorization for each transaction.

The company name is also not innocent. Last Christmas, Ramírez posted a photo where his vvife appeared dressed as Santa Claus, commenting "with this photo, you will better understand the enigma of Rosebud and Mama Noël." Rosebud is the last word in Citizen Kane, the childhood sled, but also the nickname yellow press magnate William Randolph Hearst used for his lover Marion Davies.
