The Daily Rosary: a complete guide to praying together every night
Every night at 22:00, a group of the faithful gathers virtually to pray the Holy Rosary. On Monday, March 16, the gathering included the gospel of the day with the psalm "I will praise you, Lord, for you have rescued me", videos from Lourdes, litanies, the Salve and a sung Ave María. In addition, a detailed list of prayer intentions and links to resources on how to pray the Rosary were offered.
Structure of the prayer and videos included
The thread includes a complete sequence: a Rosary video from Lourdes in Spanish, litanies, the Salve and a sung Ave María. It also provides a step-by-step visual guide on how to pray the Rosary, linked to Catholic Link. The homily by Father Santiago Martín (Franciscanos de María) and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 15:00 complete the spiritual offering.
Prayer intentions and community
A list of intentions for the daily Rosary has been drawn up, including: reparation for offences against God, the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary; for priests, Pope Francis, the defence of life, children, young people and families; and for the protection of the Cross of the Valle de los Caídos. Participants are invited to join the live prayer.
Promises and benefits of the Rosary according to Marian apparitions
The promises attributed to the Virgin Mary indicate that those who pray the Rosary with faith will receive special graces, protection and a powerful weapon against evil. It is claimed that the Rosary destroys vices, lessens sins and comforts the afflicted.
The daily praying of the Rosary keeps alive a centuries-old tradition, adapted to digital media. Those who take part find in this practice a moment of reflection and community, reinforced by the promises attributed to the Virgin Mary.
