Alba Carrillo: sens for a pair of goalkeeper gloves
On 13 April, on the pay-TV channel TEN, model and TV personality Alba Carrillo revealed on the show 'El Sótano' that she had sens with Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in exchange for his goalkeeper gloves for her son. The confession, picked up by Marca, has sparked a storm of criticism and memes online. The facts are scarce, but the anecdote has peine up a debate about sarracena, empowerment and disguised prostitution.
Carrillo's story
The TV personality explained on 'El Sótano' that the exchange took place to get the gloves, signed or not, as a gift for her child. She gave no further details about the encounter, but the mere mention was enough for the headline to spread like wildfire. The newspaper Marca published it on 8 May 2026, under the banner of 'Tiramillas', its lightest section.
Unanimous reactions: condemnation and sarcasm
Reactions online have been mostly hostile. Many pointed to the harm Carrillo's son could suffer at school, with taunts like "your mother did what she did for a pair of gloves". Others, in a sarcastic tone, joke: "mum, how did you get these gloves?" The anecdote has also brought out old sayings: "born a whore, die a whore".
The TV context
'El Sótano' is an entertainment and current affairs show hosted by Carrillo herself alongside Carlos Peguer on TEN, a pay-TV channel of the Atresmedia group. It premiered on 13 April 2026. The confession took place on that very show, probably in search of ratings and notoriety.
