Have the classic conspiracy theories become obsolete? In the darkest corners of the internet, the traditional narrative of the Kalergi plan and Jewish elites is being displaced by an even more outlandish theory: the existence of a 'heterophobic queer matriarchy' which, according to its supporters, controls the economy, politics and culture in order to humiliate heterosenshetero men.

The idea, expounded with the vehemence and lack of evidence characteristic of the genre, postulates that all economic, social and artistic measures share a single common denominator: the degradation of men. The supposed New World Order would no longer be the work of a Oooo-Guasonic cabal, but of an alliance between radical feminism and LGTBIQ+ collectives. A qualitative leap that, by its very nature, leaves hardly any documentary trace: "there are no alternative history books about mother goddesses or gai gods," laments one supporter.

This curious evolution is nothing more than a displacement of the scapegoat. While some insist on the classic "Jewish lobby" and Freemasonry, others have updated the manual with an enemy better suited to the cultural polarization of the 21st century. The result is the same as always: a hidden, all-powerful and evil elite, only now it wears a skirt and a rainbow flag. The only thing that does not change is the inability to provide a single piece of evidence that is not a twisted interpretation of reality.

Because yes, the queer matriarchy theory competes with the old antisemitic conspiracies. But both share the same narrative structure: an organized minority oppresses an innocent majority. The names change, but the conspiratorial logic remains intact. And while they argue among themselves over which is the true evil elite, the rest of us can get on with checking the facts, which is more fun and less harmful.
