On the Entery Bulletin, it is reported that Bourse Director Sven Arild Andersen is fed up with Norwegian oil having to be traded in London and wants to have a commodities and energy bourse in Norway.

Andersen in of the opinion that Norwegian oil must be traded in Euros, which can be advantageous for international customers.

So will we now hear the Bush Administration discussing the Nuclear Weapons in Norway & how they are a threat to the US or would we hear another, just as creative story to allow us to invade Norway?

Will we cause that nation some kind of international embarrassment, or will covert agents arrest important people in Norway just to keep their Bourse director in check with the American way of thinking>

It is becoming more & more apparent that other countries want a currency besides the US dollar to use as it's primary trade vehicle.

For all of the rich countries in the world, a sudden devaluation against the dollar has the potential to be far more damaging than a sudden devaluation against the euro, the yen, the yuan, the rubble, etc. This is because most of the goods and services traded internationally are priced and paid for in dollars and, virtually all commodity trade, including the trade of oil which is by far the most important good traded internationally, is denominated in dollars.

If your currency falls suddenly against the dollar, then the price of oil will suddenly increase for you, whereas if your currency falls against the yen, but not against the dollar, the price of some Japanese imports will go up, and these imports are probably not essential to the running of your economy anyway. Furthermore, many Japanese imports are also priced and paid for in dollars, so even these are more likely to go up in price for you if your currency devalues against the dollar rather than the yen.

Since virtually all of the really important imports are priced and paid for in dollars, it makes complete economic sense for rich central banks to keep most of their reserves in dollars. If the denomination of these important imports, in particular oil, were to move away from the dollar, then rich countries would move their reserves into other currencies and consequently the dollar would lose a lot of its importance.

Is that part of a global plan?
To make the dollar lose it's importance? Or to systematically create a total collapse in the US economy?

IF the oil bourse is truely the underlying reason for the US's veiled threats to invade Iran, we should soon see action / words with Norway, too.

Washington, D.C. 04 September (Asiantribune.com): While the Ethiopian media highlighted the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee report iterating the Eritrean government’s direct assistance to Sri Lanka Tamil Tiger rebels, Eritrean media has so far maintained a stark silence except the president of Eritrea dismissed the U.S. State Department accusation that his country is assisting terrorists in Somalia and Ethiopia as baseless.

An independent daily news media outlet in Ethiopia ‘Jimma Times’ in its September 3 edition highlighted that “reports have accumulated tying the Eritrean and Norwegian governments in the complex politics of Sri Lanka and the Horn of Africa” declaring the combination as ‘Axis of Evil’.

The ‘Jimma Times’ continues: “The LTTE were labeled a terrorist organization by the US and the European Union. But despite the assassinations and terrorist activities of the LTTE, the Norway government remains close with the LTTE organization in its secessionist objectives".

The large Sri Lanka Diaspora in Norway, made of more than 13,000 Tamils, is also a big source of financial and diplomatic support to the secessionist movement.

The analysis Ethiopia’s ‘Jimma Times’ gives about the situation in Sri Lanka and Norway’s role is: “The Eritrean government, made up of the former secessionist EPLF rebels that separated Eritrea from Ethiopia, was also accused by the United States of backing the insurgency in Somalia and accused by the Ethiopian government for backing the OLF & ONLF separatist insurgency.

”After long discussion to reduce concerns with Norway’s influence in the region, the Ethiopian government kicked out six Norwegian diplomats this week. Norway, which has long been known to support the OLF organization, itself seceded from Sweden and declared independence in 1905.

”Even aid work and western aid organizations, especially Scandinavian, have become involved in these complex situations. The Sri Lanka government has often accused aid workers for bias and assisting the separatist population, and remains suspicious of assistant aid workers from the same ethnic group as rebels. Similarly, the Ethiopian government has kicked out a couple of aid organizations accusing them of bias and collaborating with pro-rebel individuals.”

Who put the American Treasury and State Department in a position to demand that Ireland, Greece, Portugal, Spain and other countries impose economic depression in order to pay their debts and help American casino capitalists win on their bets that the oligarchy will defeat democracy and lead the world down to a race to the bottom?

When I was in Norway earlier this year, one of its politicians sat next to me at a dinner and said: “You know, there’s one good thing that President Obama has done that we never anticipated in Europe.
